How do I view email headers?

Email headers contain technical details about message routing and authentication that help debug deliverability issues.

Gmail

1. Go to mail.google.com
2. Open the email you want to inspect
3. Click the three-dot menu
4. Select Show original

Outlook Web

1. Go to outlook.live.com
2. Open the email
3. Click the three-dot menu
4. Select View then View message source

Outlook Desktop App

1. Open the Outlook application
2. Open the email
3. Click File then Properties
4. Headers display in the Internet headers box

Apple Mail

1. Open the Mail application
2. Open the email
3. Select View then Message then All Headers

Yahoo Mail

1. Open the email
2. Click the three-dot icon
3. Select View Raw Message

Proton Mail

1. Open the email
2. Click the More menu (three-dot icon)
3. Select View headers

Zoho Mail

1. Open the email
2. Click More Actions
3. Select Show Original

Other Email Clients

Most email clients have similar options in their menus. Look for options like "View source," "Show original," or "Message headers."
