Null Alias Destination

The null alias destination feature allows you to silently discard emails sent to a specific alias without forwarding them or generating bounce-back notifications.

Use Cases

• Silently dropping spam directed at a particular alias
• Pausing email forwarding temporarily without rejecting incoming mail

Note: Null destination emails are not counted towards your forwarding quota.

Setup

1. Log into your ImprovMX dashboard
2. Navigate to your domain's Aliases section
3. Enter your desired alias in the Alias field
4. Type null in the Destination field
5. Click Add to create the alias

Emails sent to that alias are accepted by the system but then discarded silently. No delivery confirmations or error messages are sent to the original sender.
