Creating SMTP Credentials

How to create SMTP credentials for sending emails from your custom domain.

SMTP credentials allow you to send emails from your custom domain through ImprovMX. Follow these steps to create your credentials.

Steps to Create SMTP Credentials

  1. Navigate to your ImprovMX dashboard
  2. Click the settings gear icon next to your domain
  3. Go to the SMTP tab
  4. Click Create Credentials
  5. Enter the alias you want to send from (e.g., hello for hello@yourdomain.com)
  6. Set a secure password
  7. Click Save to create your credentials

SMTP Server Settings

Use the following settings to configure your email client:

Setting Value
Server smtp.improvmx.com
Port 587 (TLS) or 465 (SSL)
Username Your full alias email (e.g., you@yourdomain.com)
Password The password you created above

Tip: Store your credentials securely. You will need them when configuring your email client.
